Drive Electric
for Less
Ride Clean Mass provides electric vehicle rebates for Uber, Lyft, livery and taxi drivers across Massachusetts.
Uber & Lyft Program Status Update
Funding for Uber and Lyft drivers is now closing. If you are an Uber or Lyft driver, please do not purchase, order, or rent an electric vehicle with the expectation of receiving an incentive.
Eligible vehicles purchased, ordered, or rented on or before July 31, 2026, will continue to be reviewed until available funding is fully subscribed through September 2, 2026. During this period, only applications for eligible vehicles purchased, ordered, or rented on or before July 31, 2026, will be processed.
Applicants must be in possession of their vehicle before submitting an application. If you will not be in possession of your vehicle by September 2, 2026, please email Info@RideCleanMass.org before September 2, 2026 with your estimated delivery date. Only the following driver categories are eligible to receive this extension:
- Uber or Lyft drivers who purchased a vehicle before July 31, 2026
- Taxi or livery drivers who purchased a vehicle before August 14, 2026
- Taxi or livery drivers who received approval to purchase a vehicle after August 14, 2026

Taxi & Livery Program Status update:
As of August 14, 2026, taxi and livery applications are being put on a waitlist. If you are a taxi or livery driver, please do not purchase or order an electric vehicle with the expectation of receiving an incentive. Applicants on the waitlist will be notified if funding becomes available for them.
Eligible vehicles purchased or ordered on or before August 13, 2026, will continue to be reviewed until available funding is fully subscribed.
Applicants who have received approval of their eligibility via email will be contacted regarding waitlist status. Going forward, all applicants must submit an application for eligibility in order to be added to the waitlist for rebate funding.
